Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses in Karnataka for 2026-27. Candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2026 can now apply through the new UGNEET-2026 registration link available on the KEA portal.The application center is open from 2:00 PM on 17 July 2026 to 11:00 AM on 24 July 2026. Candidates will have to complete the registration, submit the application and pay the required fees to be eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses.New registration facility for candidates not registering for CETKEA stated that candidates who have already registered for CET-2026 will receive a link on the KEA website shortly to add their NEET registration number to their existing CET application. Such candidates do not have to submit a new registration.The authority has clarified that no fresh registrations will be allowed after the cut-off date for the regular seat allotment rounds. However, fresh applications will be allowed for the lost vacancy round and the process schedule will be announced later.Eligibility and document verification details have been announcedThe minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the competent authority after the release of UGNEET-2026 re-examination results will be applicable for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses. KEA also stated that SC, ST and OBC eligibility criteria will be applicable only for Karnataka SC, ST and OBC candidates.The categories of candidates who have to attend the document verification will be communicated later. KEA advised the applicants to read the UGNEET-2026 Information Bulletin before applying and understand the eligibility conditions, seat classifications and requirements to claim different categories of seats.Instructions for Non-Karnataka CandidatesNon-Karnataka candidates have to register on the KEA web portal, provide their details and pay the registration fee. They also have to enter their class 12 marks details and upload the mark card in PDF format through the Marks Entry web portal. Such candidates need not appear for document verification.OCI, PIO, NRI and Foreigners along with eligible non-Karnataka candidates seeking NRI Ward, Religious Minorities or St. specific seats. John’s Medical College, they have to book seats and attend document verification at KEA, Bangalore on the scheduled dates.KEA informed the candidates that all UGNEET-2026 counseling rounds including missed vacancy round will be conducted online by KEA as per NMC and AYUSH department instructions.
