Sharing an update on the actor’s health, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari confirmed to India Today that Rajesh Sharma has completed his treatment and is returning to Mumbai. He said: “He is recovering well and has already returned to Mumbai from Kolkata where he was hospitalized. His sugar level went up, which caused problems, but he is doing well now. He will resume work in a few days.“The update has reassured fans and industry colleagues who were worried after reports of the actor’s health problems surfaced earlier this week.

Since the first bite seemed minor, he did not go to the hospital and returned to Kolkata. However, his health took a turn for the worse during the trip when he developed a high fever, shortness of breath and a severe infection in his right leg, which required immediate hospitalization.
