A player Celina Jaitly has confirmed that he is returning to his acting career after a long hiatus. The actor announced that his next project will be ‘Sister Nivedita,’ a film inspired by the life of Margaret Elizabeth Noble, later known as Sister Nivedita. The announcement comes at a difficult time in Celina’s life. She is currently arguing with her new husband, Peter Haag. Along with her announcement, Celina also shared details about the upcoming film.He revealed that ‘Sister Nibedita’ will be directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. The film will tell the story of the remarkable life of Margaret Elizabeth Noble, an Irish teacher who went to India inspired by Swami Vivekananda and dedicated herself to education, humanitarian work and spiritual work. Celina said, “I will next be seen in the magnum opus ‘Sister Nibedita,’ directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee and produced by ARITRA DAS and Sarbani Mukherjee. The film celebrates the remarkable life of Margaret Elizabeth Noble, an Irish teacher who followed Swami Vivekananda to India in 1898 and dedicated herself to India’s education, work and spiritual awakening.
A legal battle with a different man
Celina married Austrian businessman and hotelier Peter Haag in 2011. The couple welcomed twins in 2012 and later became parents to more twins in 2017. Unfortunately, one infant died shortly after birth due to a congenital heart defect.In November 2025, the actor sued Peter Haag under the Domestic Violence Act. She said that she has been subjected to domestic violence for several years. Celina has also said that she has been separated from her children even though there is an order to raise them together. The legal issues are still ongoing.
