The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the objection window for the Undergraduate Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 Provisional Answer Key tomorrow, June 28, 2026 at 11:50 PM. Candidates who find errors in the provisional answer key can raise their objections through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, before the deadline.NTA released re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key on June 25 for more than 20 thousand candidates who appeared for the re-examination. Candidates can check the answer key by logging in with their application number and password.The agency has made it clear that no objections will be accepted after the deadline. Once the objection process is complete, the NTA will review the challenges received and publish the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) answer sheets.
How to challenge the re-NEET UG 2026 answer key
Candidates can follow these steps to file objections:
- Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key Challenge link.
- Login with your application number and password.
- Select the questions you want to challenge.
- Upload required supporting documents, if applicable.
- Pay the required processing fee, if applicable, and submit the challenge.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Re-NEET UG 2026 Marking Scheme
The grading system for the exam is as follows:
- Four points will be awarded for each correct answer.
- One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Unanswered questions will not be scored.
The question paper consisted of 180 questions with a total of 720 marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
OMR sheets to be released after objection process
Once the objection window is closed and the answer key revision process is complete, the NTA will release the candidates’ OMR answer sheets.The OMR sheet will include important details such as:
- Name of the candidate
- Roll no
- Application number
- Test booklet code
- Answers for questions
- Exam date and session details
