ISRO ISTRAC Recruitment 2026: ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bangalore has invited online applications for recruitment to multiple technical, scientific and support posts vide advertisement no. ISTRAC:02:2026. The notification was released on 27 June 2026 and the application process was opened on the same day. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online till 20th July 2026.The recruitment campaign includes the positions of technical assistant, scientific assistant, library assistant-A, technician-B, draftsman-B and cook-A. While the appointments are temporary, the organization has said the positions are likely to continue. Candidates selected through the recruitment process can be posted anywhere in India depending upon the organizational requirements.Application schedule and fee detailsOnline registration started at 10:00 AM on 27 June 2026 and will remain open till 11:55 PM on 20 July 2026. Only applications through online mode will be accepted.Candidates applying for the posts of Technical Assistant and Scientific Assistant have to pay an application fee of Rs.250 along with a processing fee of Rs.500, making the total payment of Rs.750. For the posts of Technician-B, Draftsman-B and Cook-A, the application fee is Rs.100 and the processing fee is Rs.400, Rs.50. The fee will be refunded only to the candidates appearing in the written test or the computer based test.Vacancy, eligibility and age criteriaApplicants age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 20th July 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per prescribed norms.The recruitment includes eight positions for Technician-B (Electronic Mechanic), one Technician-B (Carpenter), Draftsman-B (Civil), Draftsman-B (Mechanical), Technical Assistant (Mechanical), Scientific Assistant (Mathematics) and Library Assistant-A, six Technical Assistant (Electronics Assistant), four (Electronic Sciences Assistant), and four Scientific Science Assistants. Educational qualifications vary by position and include ITI, Engineering Diploma, First Degree, Bachelor’s and Master’s in Library Science and relevant work experience for Cook-A.Selection process and application procedureThe selection process includes written test or computer based test followed by skill test where applicable, document verification and medical examination.Applicants should complete the online registration within the notified period, retain the registration number generated after submission and retain a hard copy of the filled application form for future reference.
