Indian Air Force MTS Recruitment 2026: Indian Air Force has issued notification for direct recruitment for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Group C Civilian posts vide advertisement no. 02/2026. Eligible Indian citizens can apply offline for recruitment to Air Force stations and units listed in the official notification.The recruitment drive offers six vacancies for the post of MTS under the HQ Maintenance Command. Candidates should send the filled application forms by post to the notified address. Last date for receipt of applications is 27th July 2026 which is 30 days from publication of advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.Details of the vacancy and eligibilityRecruitment is underway for six multitasking staff positions. Applicants must have passed class 10 from a recognized board. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 25 years with the age calculated from 27th July 2026. Relaxation in upper age limit is provided as per applicable government rules.No application fee has been set for candidates belonging to any category. Selection process and written examSelection will be based entirely on a written examination. Before issuing call letters, the authorities will scrutinize the applications to verify age, educational qualification and supporting documents.The written exam will include General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The question and answer paper will be available in both English and Hindi. Candidates shortlisted after the written examination will have to submit original certificates along with photocopies of documents submitted during the application process for verification.Application process and required documentationCandidates should submit their applications in the format given in Annexure I. The application should be written in English or Hindi and should include a recent self-attested passport size photograph. Applicants must also attach two additional passport size photographs matching the one attached to the application form.Supporting documents of educational qualification, age, technical qualification, experience, PwBD status and caste, if applicable, should be attached. OBC applicants must submit a valid non-creamy coat certificate, while EWS candidates must provide the prescribed asset certificate.Applicants must enclose a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 10 stamps and clearly mention the post and category on the envelope. Applications received before the publication of the advertisement or after the closing date will not be entertained. Completed application form should be sent to Commandant, IAM, IAF, Vimanapura PO, Bangalore – 560017. Indian Air Force has stated that it will not be responsible for postal delays.
