UPPSC PCS 2026: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released UPPSC PCS 2026 notification on 25th June 2026 for recruitment for various Group A and Group B administrative posts in the state government services.Candidates who are looking for the posts of Assistant Collector, Assistant Superintendent of Police and Block Development Officer can apply online through the official portal from 25th June to 27th July 2026.Notification Details: The commission has published the PCS 2026 exam detailed advertisement on its official website UPPSC UP NIC IN which contains the recruitment rules and instructions for the applicants.Vacancy details: Around 500 vacancies have been announced for Group A and Group B posts including Deputy Collector, DSP and BDO.Important dates: Notification released on 25th June 2026, online applications start on 25th June 2026 and last date to apply is 27th July 2026.Eligibility and Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 40 years for General and EWS categories and up to 45 years for reserved categories as per UP Government rules.Educational qualification: A bachelor’s degree is required for most positions, while specialist roles such as sub-registrar and statistical officer require law degrees or postgraduate degrees in relevant subjects.Application process and fee: Candidates have to complete single registration in UPPSC UP NIC IN, fill online form, upload documents and pay fee. The application fee is Rs 125 for General and OBC, Rs 65 for SC and ST and Rs 25 for PwD candidates.Selection Process: The recruitment process includes preliminary examination, main examination and interview. The preliminary exam is objective type, the main exam is descriptive and the interview assesses personality and communication skills.
