SSC CHSL 2025 option-preference window extended to June 25; here is how candidates can edit options on ssc.gov.in
Personnel selection committee (SSC) has extended the period for submission of options and preferences for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025. According to a new notice issued on 22 June 2026, candidates can now submit or modify their preferences till 25 June 2026 at 11:59 PM.The commission said the process and method of submission will remain the same as mentioned in the previous notice issued on June 19, 2026.In the latest notice, SSC informed the candidates that the option-preference window, which was earlier scheduled to close on June 23, has been extended by two more days.Candidates who have not yet submitted their preferences or want to make changes can do so through the official SSC portal before the revised deadline.
Why is choice-preference important?
SSC has clearly indicated that the candidates should submit their option-preference form within the stipulated time.Candidates who do not submit their preferences will not be considered for any post during the First Round of Provisional Allocation (FRTA) or the final selection process. The commission has also clarified that no additional opportunity will be given after the deadline.
