As a filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is gearing up to make his debut with ‘Pritam Ndi Pedro’, he has kept quiet on the rumors surrounding his upcoming film. Ranbir Kapoor and also present the long-awaited remakes of ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Munna Bhai’.
Rajkumar Hirani denies reports of Ranbir Kapoor’s movie
Reports were doing the rounds for a while that Rajkumar Hirani was making a film based on the athlete’s life, with Ranbir Kapoor. Some reports suggested that the project was pushed back to 2027 due to scheduling conflicts and unfinished documents. However, the director has now cleared the rumours.Speaking to News18, Rajkumar Hirani said, “No, I am not doing anything with Ranbir right now. But I would love to work with him again. I have read reports that we are doing a film. Usually, I look in newspapers and know about the films I am doing, which makes me wonder ki abb yeh kahan se aaya (laughs)!”Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor had previously collaborated on ‘Sanju’, the biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt.

Fans of Rajkumar Hirani’s much-loved franchises will be happy to know that ‘3 Idiots’ sequel and ‘Munna Bhai 3’ are going ahead. However, the filmmaker has made it clear that their release date depends on when the script is ready.He said, “Everything is in the writing stage at the moment. Both films will happen. But it all depends on when the script is ready.”
