Veteran Telugu actor Pavala Syamala passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 75.According to Cinema Express, he was treated at the Osmania General Hospital after suffering from age-related complications in recent days. According to reports, the actor suffered a massive heart attack.

Born as Nethi Syamala in Amaravathi in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, Pavala Syamala entered the world of theater before switching to films.He made his debut with Babai Abbai and gradually established himself as a reliable supporter. Over the years, she has appeared in several popular Telugu films in various genres.Some of his notable films include ‘Challenge’, ‘Srivariki Premalekha’, ‘Babai Abbai’, ‘Mogudu Pellalu’, ‘Ida Prapancham’, ‘Swarnakamalam’, ‘Babu Bangaram’, ‘Guntur Talkies’, ‘Shourya’, ‘Nenu Local’, and ‘Mathu Vadalara’.
Health and financial problems
Away from the limelight, Pavala Syamala faced several personal and financial problems. Her mother died when she was a child and her husband died shortly after their daughter was born. In recent years, the actor has struggled financially while battling illness. Earlier this year, a Hindustan Times report said that he was denied treatment at a private hospital because he could not afford the medical bills. He was later found by the locals, who informed the police. He was then transferred to RK Foundation for immediate treatment.Following the reports of his illness, several members of the Telugu film industry have stepped up donations for his treatment.Producer Dil Raju, who is also the chairman of the Film Development Corporation, says he arranged for medical treatment after hearing about his condition. A video that was later released showed Pavala Syamala and her daughter thanking her and her team for helping them through a difficult time.Help came again Pawan KalyanSai Durgha Tej, Chiranjeevi, and Allu Arjun, who added support for various episodes.In 2021, filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (Raj & DK) launched a fundraising campaign after revealing their financial struggles. The charity said Pavala Syamala’s daughter was hospitalized with tuberculosis and the actor sold his awards and trophies to raise money for the household.
