Megan Moroney apologized to fans via social media, saying it was the hardest decision she had to make. “Denver. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made and I’m sorry to leave the show tonight,” the ‘Lucky’ singer wrote, before adding, “I’m not going to give you guys a show that’s not 100%, and with 3 songs I knew I couldn’t give it to you guys tonight.” According to Setlist.fm, Moroney performed ‘Foolish,’ ‘Medicine,’ and ‘Bless Your Heart,’ before calling off the concert midway through.
“I am writing this as I roll my eyes in my dressing room & it pains me to disappoint you all. I will be back on August 27, and all tickets purchased for tonight’s show will be honored for the new date,” said Moroney, adding, “If you cannot make the rescheduled date, a refund is available at the time of purchase.” Also, he said that he didn’t have to decide what to do. After the cancellation, many fans supported his decision and praised him for his dedication to being on stage despite his illness.
