An impressive first look at ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Season 3 was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Along with announcing the highly anticipated event, the producers revealed that. Simon Pegg will join the team as the voice of the Balrog. ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ made a surprise announcement with cast members in Hall H, including showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay. The news reported that more than 6,500 people attended the show. The mysterious figure also included the four weapons of the Nazgûl, Sauron’s ring staff and the forerunners of the Nazgûl of the Second Age. Additionally, Simon Pegg joins the cast as the voice of the Balrog, the first time the creature will speak. Many creatures enter the next season, including Fell-beasts, Mumakil, Orgs, and Balrog.The official synopsis for season three reads, “Season Three takes place at the height of the War between the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to create the One Ring that will allow him to win the war, bind all mankind to his will – and ultimately rule all of Middle-earth.”

Members of ‘The Rings of Power’ include Charlie Vickers, Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, Robert Strangeand Markella Kavenagh. Additional cast members joining the third season are Jamie Campbell Bower, Eddie Marsan, Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla and Adam Young.The third season will begin on November 11, 2026, with four episodes, with the fifth and sixth episodes on November 18, 2026, and the final two episodes on November 25, 2026.
