DU PG Admissions 2026: Second round allotment releases 2,964 new seats; Fee payment deadline June 27
The University of Delhi (DU) has opened the second round of seat allocation under the Common System of Seat Allocation for Postgraduate Programs (CSAS-PG). The second round of counseling started on June 22 and will end on June 24, 2026. According to the university, 2,964 new seat allocations have been made in the second round. Candidates who have been allocated places must complete the admission procedures within the stipulated time to secure their place in the programme.The university has asked the candidates for the seats allotted in the second round to act promptly. Students should accept the allotted seats by June 24, 2026. Students will have to pay the fees after accepting the allotted seats by June 27, 2026.Failure to complete any of the above procedures within the allotted time will result in the cancellation of the place awarded by the university.The second call has been uploaded to the university’s postgraduate admissions portal. In addition to the allotment information, the university has uploaded the minimum score requirement for various postgraduate courses.Information about the minimum program score helps applicants know their chances in subsequent admission rounds.A total of 3,399 candidates among those who were allotted seats in the first round have frozen their seats. A total of 2,448 candidates have improved their seats.Meanwhile, 2,303 students have not selected the freeze option or requested an upgrade, leaving their final admissions decisions uncertain.
