CUET UG 2026 results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the performance statistics for the Common Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 along with the declaration of results, highlighting the number of candidates who achieved 100 percentile scores in various subjects.According to official data, a candidate achieved a 100th percentile in four of the five subjects he opted for, making it the highest individual subject performance recorded in this year’s exam. The NTA also reported that thousands of candidates achieved a perfect percentile in at least one subject, reflecting good results across a wide range of disciplines.Thousands of people record perfect percentile scoresThe NTA stated that 22 candidates scored 100 percentile in three subjects while another 180 candidates achieved the feat in two subjects. A total of 3,214 candidates scored 100 percentile in a subject.These figures represent performance by subject and should not be interpreted as overall exam rankings. The highest total score crosses 1,230The NTA also released the list of top 20 candidates based on their total NTA score in five subjects. The highest aggregate score recorded this year was 1232.19, followed by 1230.82 and 1207.21.Separate merit lists were also released for top performing male and female candidates, along with category-wise toppers for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. The agency also released the list of top 10 Divyangjan candidates based on aggregate NTA scores in five subjects.More than 15.68 lakh candidates were registeredCUET UG 2026 was conducted for admission to degree programs for the academic session 2026-27. A total of 15,68,867 candidates registered for the exam while 11,64,098 appeared.The exam was conducted in computer-based test mode over 19 days and 35 shifts in 321 cities, including 13 international locations. Universities to prepare admission merit listsThe NTA clarified that its role is limited to conducting the examination, releasing the final answer keys, preparing the results and issuing score cards. Admission merit lists and counseling timings will be announced separately by the participating universities, which will determine admissions based on CUET UG 2026 scores and their respective eligibility criteria.Candidates can access their report cards through the official CUET portal and are advised to follow the admission notifications issued by their preferred universities for the next stages of the admission process.
