Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Admit Card 2026 will be released tomorrow June 30, by Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets by visiting the official website, upessc.up.gov.in.The UPTET 2026 exam will be conducted on 2nd, 3rd and 4th July at exam centers of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, the commission had released the exam city information sheets to help candidates plan their travel in advance.
UPTET 2026 Exam details
The exam will be held in several shifts over three days.
- Paper I is for candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5.
- Test II is for candidates who want to teach classes from 6 to 8.
- Candidates who wish to teach both primary and upper primary classes must appear in both works.
UPTET is the aptitude test for recruitment of teachers in government and government aided primary and secondary schools in Uttar Pradesh. However, passing the exam does not guarantee a teaching job. It is one of the mandatory eligibility requirements to participate in the future teacher recruitment conducted by the state government.UPTET qualification certificate is valid for lifetime.
