The Office of Intelligence (IB) of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has declared the final result of Intelligence Officer Grade II/Technical (JIO-II/Technical) Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared in the recruitment process can now check the list of shortlisted candidates on the official website.The final result was announced on 29 June 2026 and includes the roll numbers of candidates who have been selected for appointment to the post of Intelligence Officer Grade II/Tech.
How was the final result prepared?
As per the official notification, the final selection has been made based on the combined performance of the candidates in all the phases of the recruitment process.The selection process included:
- Level I Online Computer Test held on 15th October 2025
- Level II and Level III exams, taken between April 15 and May 5, 2026
The list contains only the roll numbers of the selected candidates. The Intelligence Bureau has clarified that registration numbers are ordered in ascending order and not by merit.

- Download the PDF file.
- Search your roll number using search option.
- Save the PDF for future reference.
Direct link here Important Instructions for CandidatesThe Intelligence Bureau has stated that candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories whose roll numbers appear under Unreserved (UR) category have been qualified on unreserved standards.Registration numbers marked with a “P” indicate that the application is provisional because the required documents or information were not submitted during the document verification or interview.The office has also clarified that inclusion in the final result does not automatically guarantee appointment. Final selection is subject to passing character and background check, medical examination and fulfillment of all other eligibility conditions such as age, educational qualification and category requirements. Likewise, the right has been reserved to correct any error or omission in the result, if applicable, at a later stage.
