Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has today, July 25, announced the seat allotment result of the second round of Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling (UPTAC) 2026. Candidates who participated in the second round of counseling for Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Technology (Integrated) [MTech (Integrated)] Programs can now check the allotment status on the official website, uptac.samarth.edu.in.Candidates who are satisfied with the slot allotted to them can choose ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their admission. Those who want to be considered for a better seat in the next rounds of counseling can select the ‘Float’ option. Candidates who do not wish to continue in the counseling process can withdraw their allotted seat within the prescribed schedule.AKTU conducts the counseling process on behalf of the Technical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh for admission to degree and integrated programs offered by AKTU affiliated state universities and other participating universities. Admissions are based on scores in national level entrance examinations such as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, Common Undergraduate University Entrance Test (CUET UG), Common Postgraduate University Entrance Test (CUET PG) and National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), depending on the course.
