The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has opened the registration process for private candidates appearing for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2027. Candidates have to submit their applications through the authorized forwarding centers by August 5, 2026. The board has also notified the complete schedule for fee payment, document verification, corrections and details of examination fees.

Uttar Pradesh Private School Examination Board UPMSP (Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh) has officially made available the complete step-by-step guide for the registration of private candidates who are expecting to appear in the board exams for 2027. In addition to the deadline set by the board, he gave the step-by-step process for applying for the board exam, paying the fee, submitting and verifying documents, and making the amendments. Candidates were strongly advised to know the exact dates and not to miss any of the stages to avoid being charged for late application.Private candidates will have to send their examination forms through designated forwarding centres.

The court has set August 5, 2026 as the last date to submit the application form along with the prescribed examination fee. Candidates who do not complete the process within the stipulated time will be allowed to apply only after paying a late fee of Rs.100.

Complete timeline for UP Board Private Candidate Applications 2027

The UPMSP has implemented a well-defined calendar that allows them to complete the registration process for each of the phases in a time-efficient manner. After the submission of the form, it will be the sending centers that will be responsible for paying the examination fee to the Treasury and uploading the candidates’ qualifications in terms of educational level.With the release of the deadline, the board also opened the verification and correction phase, giving both educational institutions and candidates the opportunity to correct any mistakes or changes that may have been made during the process by the presenting parties before making the final list of candidates.The key dates announced by the board are:

The exam fee structure has been announced

The UPMSP has also communicated the examination fee applicable to the different categories of private candidates. For individual candidates of Class 10, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs.706.50. Candidates appearing under the credit system will have to pay Rs 306.50 while those opting for additional subjects will have to pay Rs 206.50 per subject.For individual candidates of class 12, including agriculture and vocational failed candidates, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 806.50. Students who choose additional subjects in the intermediate examination will also have to pay Rs 206.50 for each additional subject.

Verification and correction process

To minimize errors in examination records, the UPMSP has allocated a dedicated verification period from August 21 to 31, during which candidates’ data uploaded by forwarding centers will be reviewed. There will be a modification period, which extends a grace period for schools that may need changes in the data submitted. September 1-10 is the established window to allow institutions to make changes or rectify their incorrect entries after submitting all requirements just prior to the end of registration.On the other hand, the board has also asked the forwarding centers not only to upload a list with candidate images but also a bank fund letter to the respective office before 30th September 2026, to conclude the registration work for the next year (year ending 2027) board exams.Candidates are advised to complete the procedures on timeWith the registration process underway, private candidates have been advised to complete their applications well in advance of the August 5 deadline to avoid paying the late fee and to ensure sufficient time for verification and correction of their records. As applications will be processed only through authorized forwarding centres, candidates should keep in touch with their respective centers to track the progress of fee submission, document uploading and verification.
