Born Gaynor Hopkins in Neath, South Wales, the singer died on Wednesday night in a hospital in Portugal, where he was receiving treatment after emergency stomach surgery and other complications.According to a statement on his official website, Tyler’s family and team are “heartbroken” to announce that he “passed away suddenly last night at a hospital in Portugal due to complications from complications.” He was put into a medically induced coma following an emergency procedure for a perforated bowel a few months before his death.
