AIBE 19 (2024) recorded a pass percentage of 77.27 percent. In AIBE 20 (2025), 2,51,968 candidates appeared for the examination, of which 1,74,386 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 69.21 percent.For AIBE 21, the total number of candidates is estimated to be around 2.65 lakh, while the number of qualified candidates and the overall pass percentage will be announced along with the results.Date of participation by genderAccording to the latest BCI consolidated figures, 1,65,613 male candidates appeared for the exam, with 1,13,063 qualifying.Among female candidates, 86,336 applied and 61,310 qualified. The BCI also recorded the participation of 19 transgender candidates, out of which 13 qualified.Question abandonment policy at AIBEThe AIBE assessment process includes a provision to remove incorrect or defective questions from the final assessment.During AIBE 20, five questions were removed after revision, reducing the total assessment from 100 to 95 points. If BCI identifies similar discrepancies during the AIBE 21 review process, the final score will be adjusted accordingly.Practice certificate process after resultCandidates who meet the AIBE 21 requirements become eligible to receive the Certificate of Practice issued by the BCI.
