But when Rajesh Gopakumar scored AIR 1 in IIT-JEE 1987, he made a decision that shocked almost everyone around him. Instead of choosing Computer Science or another engineering discipline, he chose to study physics. After completing his Masters from IIT Kanpur in 1992, Rajesh moved to Princeton Universitywhere he studied for a doctorate. under the Nobel Prize in Physics David Grossone of the world’s leading theoretical physicists. Working in such an intellectually demanding environment helped him explore some of the deepest questions in modern physics: questions about space, time, gravity and the fundamental building blocks of the universe.
