Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued advertisement no. 02/2026 inviting applications for direct recruitment of Multi Tasking Personnel (MTS) in Group C civilian posts. Eligible Indian nationals may apply through the prescribed offline application process for vacancies available at notified Air Force Stations and Units.The recruitment drive offers six MTS vacancies under the Headquarters Maintenance Command. Candidates should send the filled application forms to the designated postal address within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. The notification appeared in the June 27 to July 3, 2026 edition of the publication, making July 27, 2026, the last date for receipt of applications.

Eligibility criteria and vacanciesRecruitment is open to candidates between 18 and 25 years of age. The last date for determining age eligibility is the last date for submission of applications, 27th July 2026. Age relaxation will be applied as per prescribed government norms.A total of six vacancies have been announced for the post of Versatile Personnel. Applicants must have passed class 10 from a recognized board or institution to be eligible for the post.Selection Process and Exam PatternThe selection will be made only through a written examination. Before the test, applications will be screened to verify age, educational qualifications, supporting documents and other eligibility conditions. Eligible candidates will receive call letters for the written examination.The written test will cover Intelligence and General Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi. Candidates shortlisted after the examination will have to submit original certificates along with copies of annexures submitted during the application process for document verification.Offline application procedureApplications must be submitted in the format indicated in Annex I of the notification. Candidates should attach documents proving educational qualification, age, experience, caste, PwBD status and other applicable claims. OBC applicants are required to provide a valid non-creamy coat certificate, while EWS candidates are required to provide a valid asset certificate.The application form should be written in English or Hindi and should include a recent self-attested passport size photograph. Applicants must also attach two additional passport size photographs, self-addressed envelope affixed with a Rs. 10 stamps and clearly mention the name and category of the post on the envelope. Completed applications should be addressed to the Commandant, IAM, IAF, Vimanapura PO, Bangalore – 560017. Applications received before publication or after the closing date will not be accepted, and postal delays will not be considered.
