It was followed by ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ with around 5.50 lakh tickets and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ with 4.86 lakh admissions.Advance bookings have remained strong at several chains, with high-end formats such as IMAX and 4DX in major cities. The film also recorded an average audience of 39 percent on its opening day. The close-out sales have also positioned ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ to be the biggest opening for a Hollywood film in India.Beyond the Indian box office, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is tracking one of the best global collections in the history of cinema. The film has already closed the biggest opening day of any film in China since ‘Avengers: Endgame’, making $35 million. It is now on pace to pull in $130 million to $150 million by Sunday, the best opening of ANY Hollywood movie in China this decade, even better than the ‘Avatar’ movies.‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will be released in Indian cinemas on July 30 in multiple languages.
