Believing that she could change Kundan Shah’s mind, she arrived the next day dressed to look older than her age.Recalling the funny incident, she said, “The next day, I picked out my best dress. I did my makeup and curled my hair. I looked like a cartoon, a little girl trying to look grown-up. She laughed and said, ‘No, you’re going to play a sister.’ They did not give me a choice not to participate in this project.”Despite her disappointment, Sadiya said she eventually embraced him and relied on his acting skills to separate fiction from reality.“It was very difficult, but look, I’m a good player. I had different thoughts about him in my heart, but my eyes tell a different story. My eyes can say he’s my brother.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s popularity stayed with him long after the film

Although she didn’t say she admired Shah Rukh Khan, Sadiya said his kindness left an impression. One of his favorite memories is a photo shoot on the beach, when the actor noticed that he was sitting under the scorching sun.He recalled, “When Shah Rukh came back, he asked me, ‘Why are you sitting in the sun? Go sit in the car and drink water.’A few years later, the two met again at a recording studio, and Sadiya was touched that Shah Rukh recognized her immediately.“I saw Shah Rukh standing there. I thought he wouldn’t remember me. He said, ‘Sadiya?’ I said, ‘You remember me?’ He said, ‘Of course, I remember you.’ He hugged me, and I hugged him back. I wouldn’t miss that opportunity.”

Each reunion reminds her why she admires him

Sadiya also recalled that she met Shah Rukh during one of her professional tours, when she accidentally entered his make-up room while searching the bathroom. The actor said they greeted him warmly and made him feel at ease.Sharing a memory he said, “Hiiii! How are you? Do you want to eat?” I said, ‘No, I have eaten. I wanted to use the toilet.’ He said, Yes, please go. This is many years to meet him.
