NEET UG Result 2026: When will the final answer key and score cards be released? Here’s what we know so far
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the NEET UG 2026 result of those students who have written the new test on June 21, after the completion of the process of considering the objections raised by the candidates regarding the provisional answer key. The NEET 2026 result will be announced only after the subject matter experts assess the challenges of the candidates and the final answer key is generated. The NTA had earlier released the provisional answer key along with the registered answer on June 25. The NEET result is expected to be released in the month of July. Based on previous trends, it usually launches after 30-45 minutes.
The objection period closed on June 28
This response key challenge facility will be operational until 23:50 on 28 June 2026. Candidates were allowed to raise objections by paying an amount of Rs 200 per question on a non-refundable basis.According to NTA, all objections submitted within the allotted time would be reviewed by experts in the field. In case any objection is proved to be true, the provisional answer key would be modified before the release of the final answer key.The final answer key would not entertain any further objection and would be used for the preparation of NEET UG 2026 re-examination result.
The result will be based on the final answer key
Now that the window for raising objections is closed, the final answer key will be available soon. Then the NEET UG result will be declared. Although there is no specific date or time set by the organization for the declaration of results, it is likely to be declared soon after the evaluation process.
NEET UG Result 2026: Steps to Check Scoreboards
Once the result is declared, candidates can access their scorecards by following these steps:
- Visit the official website of NEET at neet, nta.ac.in.
- Select “NEET UG Result 2026” from the link on the home page.
- Fill in your application number, date of birth and security pin.
- Click “submit” to login.
- Your NEET UG 2026 Scoreboard will appear on the screen.
- Take a printout of your scorecard.
