The last date has been extended to July 7, 2026 at 11:50 p.m. Candidates who missed the above deadline or submitted incorrect bank information, ensuring that eligible students do not lose their refund due to clerical or technical errors. In an official notification, the testing agency announced that the refund portal would remain accessible till July 7, 2026, allowing candidates to view, confirm, correct or update their bank account details.The official announcement read:“In order to ensure that no candidate is inconvenienced and that all eligible candidates have a fair chance to receive the refund, NTA has decided to extend the refund portal to all candidates to view, confirm, correct or update their bank account details up to 7 July 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).”

How to verify bank account details
To complete the verification process, candidates need to login to the NEET UG 2026 registration portal and complete the required two-factor authentication. After accessing the “Confirm/Update Bank Account Details” link, they can confirm or modify their bank information.NTA has also allowed candidates to upload a canceled cheque, if they wish, to help ensure the accuracy of the bank account details submitted.The agency has clarified that once the bank details are submitted after the authentication process is completed, the information will be treated as final. So candidates are advised to check all the details carefully before submitting the form.
