Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the hall ticket for Karnataka State Police (KSP) Civilian Police Written Competitive Examination 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment process can download their admit cards from the official KEA exam portal.The written exam is scheduled to be held in Karnataka on August 2, 2026 to fill 3,991 civil police posts. Candidates who qualified the compulsory Kannada language test conducted on 19th July 2026 can appear for the written examination.Download process of room ticketsCandidates can access the KEA KSP Civil Police Hall Ticket by visiting the official exam portal. To download the admit card, applicants must select the Civil Police – RPC 2026 exam option and enter their application number or roll ID.Candidates must also provide the first four letters of their name exactly as mentioned in the application form, enter the security captcha and submit the details. Hall ticket will appear on the screen after successful verification. Candidates will have to download and take a clear printout of the admit card for the day of the exam.Exam calendar and vacancy detailsThe written exam will be conducted in two sessions based on the table classification. Candidates applying for the Residual Parents Cadre, which includes General/Mikkilida vacancies, will appear in the morning session from 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. Kalyana Karnataka Board under Section 371-J will conduct the exam from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.Out of total 3,991 vacancies, 3,395 posts are available under Residual Parent Cadre while 596 posts are reserved under Kalyana Karnataka Cadre.Exam pattern and selection phasesThe written examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR based answer sheets. The paper will carry 100 points and candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam. A negative marking scheme will apply, with 0.25 points deducted for each incorrect answer.The selection process includes written examination followed by Physical Standard Test (PST) and Endurance Test (ET) for shortlisted candidates based on written examination cutoff. KEA will shortlist candidates for physical tests in 1:2 ratio.Term of employment and physical requirementsThe official notification for the recruitment was released on 5th June 2026 and the online application process started on 8th June. The last date for submitting applications was extended to July 8, followed by the application correction period from July 10 to July 13.A total of 3,90,715 candidates have registered for the recruitment cycle, resulting in a competition of around 98 candidates per vacancy.Candidates appearing for the physical tests after clearing the written examination must meet the prescribed standards. Male general and ex-military candidates require a minimum height of 168 cm and a chest size of 86 cm with an expansion of 5 cm. Female and third gender candidates require a minimum height of 157 cm and a weight of 45 kg. Candidates from tribal areas in the forest regions of Karnataka have separate requirements, with minimum height criteria of 155 cm for men and 150 cm for women.
