Candidates who participated in the counseling process can now check their allotment status by visiting the official website, josaa.nic.in.To access the result candidates will have to login with their application number and password.Candidates who have been allotted a seat must download their seat allotment letter and complete the online reporting process through the admission portal before 20 July 2026. The reporting process must be completed within the deadline to confirm the allotted seat.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their allotment letter:
- Visit the official website at josaa.nic.in.
- On the home page, go to the Candidate Activity Board.
- Click on the link titled “View Round 5 Seat Allotment Result for JoSAA 2026”.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Submit the details to see the result.
- Consult the assigned institute and course.
- Download and save the allotment letter for future reference.

Documents required for JoSAA counseling 2026
Candidates must have the following documents ready for the admission process:
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Admit Card and Score Card
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026 Advanced Admit Card (for Indian Institutes of Technology Admissions)
- Class 10 certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
- Class 12 record and passing certificate
- Passport size photos
- Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID or Passport
