Even the fans are emotional after watching it Thalapathy Vijay‘s ‘One last dance’ in theaters, director H. Vinoth shared an exciting update about ‘Jana Nayagan’. The producer of the film revealed in a recent event that six scenes which were removed from the final set of the theater will be restored and shown in the cinema. The announcement came at the film’s success celebration in Chennai, where the cast interacted with fans following the film.When asked if the film has any deleted scenes, Vinoth confirmed that several sequences were left out of the final version.
Funny, action and emotional moments
Talking about the deleted episodes, H. Vinoth explained that the film has different shades of Vijay’s character and includes the right mix of comedy, action and emotion. As reported by Hindustan Times, he said, “Yes, there are six scenes that we removed. There are two funny (funny) scenes with the boss (Vijay), two scenes and two other scenes.”
When will the new version be released?
Vinoth also answered questions about when the deleted scenes would become part of the theater. The director explained that the final decision rests with the production team. He indicated that negotiations are underway. The revised version could hit theaters next week. He said, “It depends on what the production plan is.” When the event manager suggested that the director should have the final say, Vinoth replied, “No, I’m ready. We’ll think about adding them from the next week or so.”An official update from the ‘Jana Nayagan’ team is awaited.
‘Jana Nayagan’ is witnessing a decline on Monday
Meanwhile, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has entered its first week of operation after enjoying a successful opening week at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 10.15 crore in India on Day 5.The latest figure represents a drop of 68.3% compared to Sunday’s collection of Rs 32 crore. Day 5 collections included, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has taken its total India collection to Rs 134.90 crore, while the Indian collection has reached Rs 157.74 crore.On Monday, ‘Jana Nayagan’ collected 4 crore worldwide, taking its overseas earnings to Rs 75.50 crore. The worldwide collection has now risen to Rs 233.24 crore.If the extras are added next week, then ‘Jana Nayagan’ might witness more in its ranks. Apart from Vijay, the actor features Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol in important roles.
