Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has invited online applications for 244 vacancies under its ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB). Recruitment drive is going on for the posts of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Senior Division Clerk (UDC) and Stenographer at various ISRO Centres, Department of Space (DOS) units and autonomous bodies.The online application process started on July 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM and will remain open until August 16, 2026 at 11:55 PM. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through ISRO official website only.
ISRO Recruitment 2026 : Details of the vacancy
The recruitment includes a total of 244 positions for:
- assistant
- Junior Personal Assistant (JPA)
- Secretary of the Upper Division (UDC)
- stenographer
Vacancies are available at various ISRO centres, units of the Department of Space and autonomous bodies.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for Assistant and Clerk positions in the Upper Division must have:
- A high school diploma with at least 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA on a 10-point scale from a recognized university.
- Competence in the use of computers.
- Candidates applying for Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer Posts must also fulfill the educational qualification and other eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification.

Selection process
The selection process includes:The written exam will be conducted in 38 cities across India. Candidates clearing the written test will be shortlisted for the skill test based on the number of vacancies.
Application fee
There is an application fee of ₹100 for all posts. However, all candidates have to first pay a processing fee of ₹500 per application while submitting the form online.Candidates belonging to exempted categories like Women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Reference Disability (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen will get full refund of processing fee if they appear in the written test. The other candidates will get a refund after deducting the application fee of ₹100, provided they appear for the exam.
