Lisa was Patrick’s partner on TV and off
Lisa wasn’t just Patrick’s wife—she was also one of his biggest creative collaborators. In preparation for Dirty Dancing, Patrick revealed that his most important experiments were done by himself.“My most important rehearsals were with Lisa in a hotel room. Patrick and Lisa had hoped to have children, but after Lisa suffered a miscarriage in 1990, they eventually decided not to continue being a parent. He’s commenting on what I’m doing… I hear what he’s saying, which is usually, ‘Come on, girl, get real.’Lisa also married jeweler Albert DePrisco in 2014, but she often says that Patrick will remain a part of her life.“Just because someone is gone doesn’t end your relationship with them. We were together for 34 years, and this will be a part of my life and who I am. “Today, Lisa lives on a horse farm in Florida with DePrisco, regularly shares stories about the animals she cares for on social media, and continues to support pancreatic cancer awareness through fundraising events and publicity, ensuring that Patrick Swayze’s legacy continues to inspire fans around the world.
