Ishan, Abhishek remain on top despite India’s collapse
The latest ICC rankings confirm that Ishan Kishan remains the No. 1 T20I batter in the world, with partner Abhishek Sharma remaining at no. 2 positions.There was another positive for India in the form of new T20I captain Shreyas Iyer, who enjoyed one of the biggest bounces of the week. After scoring 68 in the rain-hit opening game against England and following it up with 37 in the second T20I, Iyer has moved up an astonishing 425 places to joint 93rd in the batting rankings.England, on the other hand, were rewarded handsomely for their good performances.Jacob Bethell climbed seven places to No. 8 after his unbeaten 76 off 46 balls helped England secure victory in the second T20I.Sam Curran also enjoyed a productive week, rising 12 spots to No. 108 among the batters after contributing an unbeaten 41 and rose 12 places to 71st in the bowling rankings after figures of 3/33. His exploits also lifted him six places to 13th place among T20I all-rounders.

England’s stars are on the rise after a dominant series
Veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid returned to the top three in the T20I bowling rankings after moving up one place to No. 3 thanks to his pathetic figures of 2/14 in England’s record win.Fast bowler Josh’s tongue: also entered the ranks of the joint 301st after claiming four wickets in his second T20I appearance, while Will Jacks entered the top 10 of T20I all-rounders, rising six places to No. 7.
