After scoring 68 in the rain-hit opening game against England and following it up with 37 in the second T20I, Iyer has moved up an astonishing 425 places to joint 93rd in the batting rankings.England, on the other hand, were rewarded handsomely for their good performances.Jacob Bethell climbed seven places to No. 8 after his unbeaten 76 off 46 balls helped England secure victory in the second T20I.Sam Curran also enjoyed a productive week, rising 12 spots to No. 108 among the batters after contributing an unbeaten 41 and rose 12 places to 71st in the bowling rankings after figures of 3/33. His exploits also lifted him six places to 13th place among T20I all-rounders.
