HTET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 begins today with Level 3 Examination (PGT), conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). The state level examination will be conducted over two days for candidates appearing in PGT, TGT and PRT categories. The authorities have issued detailed instructions covering reporting time, documents, entry rules and items allowed inside the exam centres.A total of 2,33,294 candidates including 1,66,137 females and 67,157 males are expected to appear in the HTET 2026. The Level 3 Examination (PGT) is being conducted in 238 centers for 73,091 candidates. The Tier 2 (TGT) exam will be held at 383 centers for 1,19,141 candidates, while the Tier 1 (PRT) exam will be held at 139 centers for 41,062 candidates.Examination calendar and reporting timeThe Level 3 exam (PGT) is scheduled from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm on July 4, 2026. The Level 2 exam (TGT) will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on July 5, 2026, followed by the Level 1 exam (PRT) from 5:00 pm to 3:30 pm on the same day dayCandidates have been advised to report to their examination centers two hours and 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination. This period has been allocated for security screening using metal detectors, biometric verification, thumb print capture and identity verification. Access to the exam center will be closed one hour before the start of the exam.Documentation and clothing allowedCandidates are required to carry one page color printout of HTET Admit Card including center copy and candidate copy. They should also carry the original photo identity card used while submitting the HTET application form and follow all the instructions printed on the admit card.Candidates have been advised to wear simple clothes. Female candidates can wear mangalsutra, bindi and sindoor. Christian and baptized Sikh candidates will be allowed to wear religious symbols in accordance with the prescribed rules.Prohibited articles and special provisionsMobile phones, smart watches, wristwatches, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pagers, calculators, cameras, sanitary tapes, wallets, purses, plastic bags, papers, notes, tokens, record boards and jewellery, including rings, chains, earrings, pendants, necklaces and other metal objects, are prohibited inside the examination hall.A state-level control room has been set up at the BSEH headquarters, while district and headquarters flying squads will monitor the examination. CCTV cameras have been installed at all centres, ambulance services will remain available, candidates can seek police assistance through 112 if required and additional buses have been arranged on selected routes.
