Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) closes the online application process for Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D recruitment today, 5th July 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed the registration process can submit their applications through the Single Registration Portal (OTR) before the deadline. The recruitment drive is being conducted under advertisement no. 05/2026 for Group D Posts in various Departments of Haryana Govt.HSSC released the Group D CET notification on 18 June 2026, while the online application window opened on 19 June 2026. Later, the last date for submitting applications was extended to 5 July 2026. The commission has indicated approximately 8000 vacancies in the recruitment process. The CET serves as an eligibility examination for appointments to Group D posts in the state.Recruitment and eligibility detailsThe recruitment is open to candidates who have passed class 10. Applicants must be between 18 to 42 years with 6th July 2026 as the cutoff date for determining age eligibility. Age relaxation will be applicable as per prescribed government norms.Recruitment is Haryana based and selection will be through CET process. The exam date will be announced separately by the committee.Application fee and selection processThe application fee is Rs 500 for general, OBC and EWS candidates, while applicants belonging to SC, ST and PH/PWD categories have to pay Rs 250. Fees can be paid through online mode. Although the application window closes today, candidates can deposit the application fee till July 8, 2026.The selection process consists of the HSSC CET Group D written exam, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The commission has also removed the previous provision of additional marks based on socio-economic criteria. Selection will now solely depend on the candidate’s CET score.Application process and correction windowCandidates have to visit the HSSC official website, complete the OTR process if they have not already registered, fill the CET Group D application form, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed fee and submit the application online. A printout of the submitted form should be retained for future reference.After the application process is completed, HSSC will allow the applicants to edit the submitted forms from July 9 to July 11, 2026, before announcing the exam schedule.
