Instead of ending with an image of the Iron Throne, the artwork now ends with a Targaryen-style dragon with a black dragon on a red background.The symbol does not represent the traditional Targaryen flag, which features a red dragon on a black field. Instead, the dark red dragon is associated with House Blackfyre, the cadet branch of House Targaryen that appears many years later in the events of ‘House of the Dragon’.Viewers also noticed that the painting was also seen torn, symbolizing the decline of House Targaryen, its lineage and dragons.New episodes of ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3 will air every Monday until the end of August 9.
