Honda Alpha 0 Alpha electric speed testing: Interior, specs and more

Honda Cars India has once again been spotted testing its upcoming electric SUV. Based on the Honda 0 Alpha concept, the camouflaged prototype was recently spotted in Manali, revealing its cabin in more detail than before. The latest spy images show a large landscape-oriented infotainment touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster.

In the spy images, the interior of the SUV can be seen through the driver’s window. Some interior highlights include a large freestanding infotainment touchscreen in the center of the dashboard and a fully digital instrument cluster located behind the steering wheel. The touchscreen is expected to feature Honda’s new UI, and other expected features include wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car features, navigation, and EV-specific functions. Below, physical buttons for climate control and other functions can also be found. The steering wheel appears with a new multi-function design, while the dashboard adopts the minimalist style found in Honda’s global 0 Series models.The Honda Alpha 0 was first shown at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. Honda calls the Honda 0 Alpha concept “Thin, Light, and Smart,” and that philosophy is clearly reflected in its styling. The SUV carries a wide, upright stance that gives it presence, while the sharp front angle and near-vertical rear windshields appear as important design highlights. The window line sweeps upwards towards the rear, merging with a thick C-pillar that gives it a hint of MPV-like proportions, capped by a subtle roof spoiler.

Design-wise, at the front, the smooth fascia features an illuminated Honda emblem and an integrated charging port, flanked by neat headlamp units. A bold lower bumper transitions to muscular body cladding on the sides, where aero-styled 19-inch, five-spoke alloys complement flared wheel arches. At the rear, a wide U-shaped LED light strip frames the upright glass area, while a chunky faux skid plate on the bumper completes the tough but futuristic appeal.The front and back have large, screen-like sections that combine various functional elements. At the front, the traditionally separate components – such as the headlights, illuminated Honda badge, and charging port are seamlessly integrated into the screen. The rear continues this theme with a distinctive U-shaped lighting signature that integrates the tail, reverse, and turn signal lamps.
