NCERT CIET Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Temporary Jobs in Research and Digital Education

The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent unit of the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), has invited applications for various contractual positions under projects approved by the PAB for the period 2026-27. The recruitment drive is open to candidates interested in educational technology, research, electronic content development, media, training, communication and project implementation.Selected candidates will work at CIET-NCERT, New Delhi-110016 on a temporary basis. The participation period will continue until March 31, 2027. Eligible applicants must submit their applications by July 30, 2026, before 11:00 p.m. through the established application process.Details of contractual charges and commitmentCIET-NCERT has announced recruitment to support various projects approved under the Project Approval Board (PAB). The positions are purely temporary, and the number of places may increase or decrease depending on the needs of the project.Candidates applying for these roles must ensure that they meet the educational requirements and experience criteria mentioned for the respective posts. Experience related to research, teaching, training, extension activities and electronic content development will be considered specifically in the context of school education.Applicants claiming experience requirements for posts with consolidated pay of Rs. 40,000 or more must provide supporting documents during the interview. These documents may include a payslip, bank statement or Income Tax Return (ITR) record for the period claimed as work experience.Eligibility requirements and interview guidelinesCIET-NCERT has stated that candidates must submit accurate details about their qualifications and experience. The time spent researching M.Phil. or doctoral degrees will not count as teaching or research experience for eligibility purposes.Candidates currently employed in temporary or permanent roles must submit a no-objection certificate from their employer. Without the certificate, applicants will not be allowed to appear for the interview.Selected candidates may be asked to join immediately after completion of selection process. Applicants should bring the original documents related to qualifications and experience along with their bio-data in the format laid down in Annexure-1.Application documents and instructionsCandidates attending interview should bring examples of their written or published work, if available. This may include scripts, screenplays, artwork, multimedia projects, graphics, animations, audio and video advertisements, promotional materials, books, magazines, thesis papers, theses and journals.No travel allowance or per diem will be granted for attending the interview.
