He began his career as a field language supervisor and health counselor in the late 1940s, helping people affected by WW2. After immigrating to Canada with his family in 1953, he began working in the human resources department of a broadcasting company. During his tenure there, he was also commissioned to write articles and do TV interviews.In 1956, he got some of his first material as a small item in two series. These included ‘The Tell-Tale Heart’ (1958) and ‘Hudson’s Bay’ (1959). From the 1960s to the 1980s, Bower became a household name in scoring positions in the major leagues of the time. This included roles like ‘Star Trek’, where she appeared as a guest character changer Sylvia, and her portrayal of Eva Norda in ‘The Twilight Zone’.Over the years, he developed his acting skills and worked in nearly 100 roles. These included ‘Kojak’, ‘Columbo’, ‘Perry Mason’, ‘The Fugitive’, ‘Hawaii Five-O’, and Murder, She Wrote.’ He also had a recurring role on ‘Neon Rider’ for about three seasons.On the big screen, he appeared in the Filipino horror film ‘Superbeast’, which was released in 1972. He also appeared in ‘Prom Night’ (1980) and ‘The Evil That Men Do’ (1984), in which he played Charles Bronson.
