AIIMS Opens Applications for NORCET 11 Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026 with September Exam Schedule

AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has issued official notification for Nurse Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11 under notification no. 103/2026. The recruitment drive invites online applications for the posts of Nursing Officer (Group-B) in AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS Institutions. The notification was published on 24 July 2026.The online registration has started through the official AIIMS exam portal and will remain open till 13 August 2026 at 5 PM. The recruitment will be done through a two-stage computer-based examination, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The number of vacancies will be announced separately.Eligibility criteria and payment detailsThe selected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Officers at Level 07 of the pay matrix corresponding to the pre-revised Pay Band 2 of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with a grade pay of Rs. 4,600.Applicants should be between 18 to 30 years as on 13th August 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per established norms.Candidates must have a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, or post-basic B.Sc. Nursing qualification together with registration as a nurse and midwife. General Nursing and Midwifery graduates are also eligible if they are registered as a Nurse and Midwife and have two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.Examination calendar and application feeThe NORCET Preliminary Exam is scheduled for 12th September 2026 while the NORCET Mains Exam will be held on 30th September 2026. Both stages will be conducted as computer-based tests.

The application fee is Rs. 3,000 for General, UR and OBC candidates while SC, ST and EWS applicants have to pay Rs. 2,400. People with disabilities are exempt from paying the application fee. AIIMS has indicated that the application fees paid by SC and ST candidates appearing for the examination will be refunded after declaration of results, subject to verification of their category certificates.Application processCandidates have to fill the online application through AIIMS exam portal by registering for NORCET-11, filling the application form, uploading the required documents and paying the applicable fee through online payment modes. After successful submission, applicants should download and retain a copy of the filled application form for future reference. Selection will be based on the performance of preliminary and general examinations, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
