NEW DELHI: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will conduct the first offline counseling for admission to its Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program on July 7 at the university’s Dwarka campus. The counseling process is aimed at the candidates who qualified in the entrance exam conducted in the program.Places will also be allocated on the same day after verification of the required documentation. The university has indicated that admissions will be finalized based on the merits of the candidates once the document verification process is over.Documentation required for adviceCandidates attending the counseling session should bring a bank draft of Rs. 96,000 raffles in favor of the University Registry. They should also carry four passport size photographs, CET admit card, mark card, online filled application form, date of birth and other prescribed documents for verification.Only those candidates who have successfully cleared the BMS program entrance exam will be eligible to participate in offline counselling. Document verification will be completed before allotment of seats as per merit list.Seat cancellation and program detailsThe university has announced that candidates who are allotted a place under program code 142 will have the option to cancel their admission until July 14 after the counseling process.The degree program in management studies is offered at the university-affiliated Indian Institute of Packaging. A total of 60 seats are available under the program for the current admission process.Official websites for admission updatesGuru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has advised the candidates who wish to participate in the counseling process to refer their official admission portals for detailed information related to eligibility, counseling procedures and admission requirements.Applicants can access updates, notifications and other admission related details through the college website and online admissions portal before attending the counseling session. Candidates are expected to ensure that all required documents are complete and available at the time of verification to avoid any delay during the admission process.The university has scheduled counseling at its Dwarka campus, where document verification and merit-based seat allotment will be conducted on the same day for eligible candidates applying for the degree program in management studies offered at the university-affiliated Indian Institute of Packaging.
