Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of company commander posts in Bihar Home Guard. A total of 65 vacancies will be filled with this recruitment campaign.Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through BPSSC official website. The recruitment is aimed at filling 65 posts of Company Commander (Level 6) in Bihar National Guard. The distribution of vacancies by category is as follows:

Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Both male and female and third gender candidates are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
- Educational qualification and age will be calculated from 1st August 2025 onwards.
age limitAs of August 1, 2025, the age limits are:
- General (Male): From 20 to 37 years
- General (Female): 20 to 40 years
- Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 20 to 40 years
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Third Gender: From 20 to 42 years
Age relaxation will be applicable for Bihar Government Employees and Ex-Servicemen as per Govt Rules.
Physical standards
Height:
- General/Men’s BC: 165 cm
- Male EBC/SC/ST: 160cm
- Woman: 155 cm
Chest (male only):
- General/BC/EBC: 81 cm (unexpanded), 86 cm (expanded)
- SC/ST: 79 cm (unexpanded), 84 cm (expanded)
Weight:
- Female candidates: Minimum 48 kg.
Application fee
The application fee for all categories of male, female and third gender candidates is ₹100. Bank transaction fees, if applicable, will have to be paid separately.
