HSSC issues PMT last chance for Group C recruitment absentee candidates before selection process goes further

Group C recruitment of the HSSC 2026: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a last chance for the candidates who missed the previous Physical Measurement Test (PMT) conducted for various Group C recruitment posts under Advertisement no. 13/2024, 01/2026, 02/2026 and 04/2026. The decision follows the Commission’s previous public notice on PMTs for various departments.As per the latest public notice absentee candidates will undergo PMT on new dates at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula. The Commission has clarified that this will be the last chance for the eligible candidates who were absent during the previously scheduled tests.Revised PMT schedule for absent candidatesThe candidates for the posts of Deputy Conservator, Warden (Male), Deputy Superintendent of Jail (Male), Male Constable (General Duty) and Sub-Inspector (General Duty) under advertisement no. 13/2024, who were absent during the PMT held from June 22, 2026 to June 23, 2026 will appear for the test on June 26, 2026.

Candidates applying for the position of Forester (Group 01) from Announcement no. 02/2026 and of the Forest Guard (Group 06) of Announcement no. 04/2026, who have not appeared in the PMT held from June 24, 2026 to June 25, 2026, will pass the Forest Guard test from 202630. from June 26, 2026 to June 27, 2026, together with the candidates for male constable (general duty) and male agent (police) government railway) under advertisement no. 01/2026, will appear on July 1, 2026.Instructions issued to candidatesThe Commission has set the time for presenting reports at 6.30 am. Entry to the site after 10:00 a.m. will not be allowed. Candidates must carry their admit card along with valid identity proof while appearing at PMT.HSSC has informed that no separate admit card will be issued for this round and no individual communication will be sent through post or email. Candidates who fail to appear on the revised date will not be given another chance.Recruitment overviewThe Group C recruitment campaign covers 1,383 vacancies. Applications were accepted from February 2 to February 15, 2026, with the application window reopening from March 16 to March 19, 2026. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 42 years as of January 1, 2026. The exam schedule is yet to be announced.
