Maruti Suzuki is all set for the introduction of the updated Brezza on July 24, and ahead of its official launch, the compact SUV was spotted without camouflage in its entry-level LXI trim. The latest spy shots provide the first detailed look at the base version. At the front, the 2026 Brezza gets a redesigned grille with a more contained look, paired with a revised front bumper. Despite being the base LXI variant, the spotted model is seen equipped with projector headlamps. Like most entry-level trims, it continues to use black steel wheels instead of alloy wheels. While the interior of the LXI variant is yet to be seen in full, the updated Brezza is expected to receive several feature additions across the lineup. Higher trims will likely get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, connected car features and a HUD. The steering wheel is expected to remain unchanged and continue with integrated controls.Under the hood, the facelifted Brezza is expected to continue with the familiar 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 101 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. However, Maruti Suzuki may replace the existing five-speed manual gearbox with a new six-speed manual transmission. Additionally, select variants are also expected to get a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, although the company has not yet officially confirmed the complete powertrain options.Maruti Suzuki has started accepting bookings for the SUV against a token price of Rs 11,000. Once launched, the facelifted Brezza will continue to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and others.
