WBJEEBregistration in the second round 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will start the second round registration and selection procedure for the WBJEE 2026 counseling process today from July 13. Candidates who are left without seat allotment in the first round or wish for enhancement of allotment can apply through official counseling portal till 17th July 2026.The second round of counseling is an important step for engineering and pharmacy candidates seeking admission in West Bengal institutions that participate in the counseling process based on their merit rank in the entrance exam and other criteria.
WBJEE Round 2 seat distribution on July 21
According to the counseling schedule, the second round seat allotment result will be declared on July 21, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats for the first time in this round will have to pay the prescribed seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission between July 21 and July 23, 2026.The same deadline has also been notified for candidates who choose to withdraw from the counseling process. Applicants have been advised to check the reporting schedule and admission requirements directly on the websites of their assigned institutions before visiting the campus.

How seat allocation will be decided
The second round allotment list will be prepared by WBJEEB, taking into account various criteria such as candidate’s WBJEE 2026 exam rank, category, eligibility criteria, availability of seats in participating institutes and the order in which options were marked during counselling.Candidates are advised to make changes in their choice of preference accordingly.

- Log into the system using your application number and password.
- Enter your preferences for your chosen universities and courses.
- Make changes to your preferences if necessary.
- Submit the form after saving your preferences.
