WBJEE Counseling 2026 Second Round Registration Begins Today; seat allotment on 21st July – Check details here

WBJEEB has started the Round 2 Counseling Selection and Registration process for WBJEE 2026. Eligible candidates can submit or revise their preferences till July 17, while the seat allotment result will be announced on July 21, followed by fee payment, document verification and admission procedures.

WBJEEBregistration in the second round 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will start the second round registration and selection procedure for the WBJEE 2026 counseling process today from July 13. Candidates who are left without seat allotment in the first round or wish for enhancement of allotment can apply through official counseling portal till 17th July 2026.The second round of counseling is an important step for engineering and pharmacy candidates seeking admission in West Bengal institutions that participate in the counseling process based on their merit rank in the entrance exam and other criteria.

According to the counseling schedule, the second round seat allotment result will be declared on July 21, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats for the first time in this round will have to pay the prescribed seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission between July 21 and July 23, 2026.The same deadline has also been notified for candidates who choose to withdraw from the counseling process. Applicants have been advised to check the reporting schedule and admission requirements directly on the websites of their assigned institutions before visiting the campus.

The second round allotment list will be prepared by WBJEEB, taking into account various criteria such as candidate’s WBJEE 2026 exam rank, category, eligibility criteria, availability of seats in participating institutes and the order in which options were marked during counselling.Candidates are advised to make changes in their choice of preference accordingly.
