Director and Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra he is the latest celebrity to shell out a lot of money in the real estate market. According to recent reports, Chopra has become the new owner of a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Pali Hill.According to Money Control, the director is said to have bought the house for around Rs 7.75 crore. According to the property registration documents obtained by CRE Matrix, the property is located in Bahar Apartment on Pali Mala Road in Bandra West, Bandstand adjacent to Carter Road where several prominent people, including Shah Rukh Khansalman khan Aamir KhanJaved Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Rekha and Sanjay Dutt.The house boasts of a carpet area of 698 sq ft, and the sale was officially registered on June 30, 2026. Property records show that Chopra paid Rs 46.50 lakh for stamp duty, along with a registration fee of Rs 30,000, to complete the project. The property is said to have been taken from the producer of the film Rakeysh Omprakash MehraProduction company – Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Private Limited.The report also adds that the house was purchased in 2007 for around Rs 1.20 crore.Vidhu Vinod Chopra was in news for the success of his film ’12th Fail’. Throughout his career, he has been associated with many popular films and now he is said to be working with Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani on the sequel of ‘3 Idiots’. The film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and R Madhavan, is said to be in development and is expected to go on floors by mid-2027 once the show is completed.
