UPPSC GIC Teaching Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the UP GIC Teacher Result 2026 for all 13 subjects on its official website. Candidates who appeared in the preliminary recruitment exam can now check their qualification status through the subject wise result PDFs released by the Commission.The results determine the list of shortlisted candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process, the main examination. The Commission has also clarified that a separate notification regarding the mains exam schedule and online application process will be issued later for the qualified candidates.

The UPPSC has released PDF of separate results covering the 13 subjects included in the Government Inter College (GIC) Teacher Recruitment drive. The subjects include Sociology, Geography, Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Civics, History, Biology, Urdu and Sanskrit.Candidates can download the respective PDF from the official website of the Commission and search their roll numbers to confirm whether they have qualified for the main examination.The Commission has also published participation and qualification statistics for various subjects.For Sociology, a total of 31,116 candidates registered while 9,430 appeared in the preliminary examination. Out of the test takers, 806 candidates have been declared eligible for the main examination.In Geography, 23,951 candidates registered and 11,378 sat the exam. Based on their performance in the preliminary phase, 1,927 candidates have qualified for the main examination.The Commission noted that the candidates who failed to secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks have not been included in the shortlisted candidates.
