July 2026 is set to be a busy month for the Indian automotive industry, with several new car launches and unveilings scheduled across several segments. Additionally, many manufacturers are likely to introduce special editions and refreshed versions of existing products as they gear up for the festive season in the coming months. In this article, we will look at the upcoming launch of the car and will be revealed in July 2026.Skoda Kodiaq RSThe Skoda Kodiaq RS is the first car on the list and is expected to be launched in the coming days. The limited-run performance SUV quickly attracted strong interest from enthusiasts across the country. And all the 50 units allotted for India were sold out within just six minutes of bookings opening. With all 50 units already sold, it remains to be seen if Skoda Auto India will allocate more units of the Kodiaq RS for the Indian market.

Skoda will import the performance SUV as a completely built unit (CBU) and is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Skoda Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Compared to the regular Kodiaq, the RS delivers an additional 60hp and 80Nm of torque. Remarkably, the engine is tuned identically to the unit that powers the Octavia RS and Golf GTI. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels.2026 Renault KwidThe next car on the list is the new 2026 Renault Kwid, which will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. Exterior changes will likely include redesigned front and rear bumpers, along with a new set of alloy wheels. Renault has yet to reveal cabin updates, although the hatchback is expected to get revised upholstery and some new features. The mechanical package is likely to remain unchanged, with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continuing to produce 67bhp and 91Nm. Buyers are expected to have the option of a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while the dealer-equipped CNG kit is likely to remain on offer.Nissan Tekton Next up is the Nissan Tekton, which will make its global debut on July 9, 2026. Up front, the new Nissan Tekton SUV has a wide front grille with a red horizontal strip running across it and a glowing Nissan logo in the middle. The SUV also features a full-width LED DRL signature linked to the headlamp units, which contain L-shaped lighting elements. Other exterior highlights include a sculpted bonnet with prominent character lines, a central hood scoop and Tekton badging.

At the rear, the SUV features a roof-mounted spoiler, a raked windshield, C-shaped connected tail lamps and a large bumper. Dimensionally, the SUV is expected to be similar in size to the new Renault Duster, which measures 4,345 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, 1,703 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,657 mm.Tekton is expected to share its engine options with the new Duster. A 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 100 PS power and 160 nm torque mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The other engine is a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine with 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed DCT or 6-speed manual. There is also a larger 1.8-liter powerful hybrid gasoline engine with 109 hp, paired with a 49hp electric motor and a 20hp hybrid starter generator (HSG), paired with a 1.4kWh (280V) battery. Together, this configuration provides a combined system output of 160hp and 172Nm. We don’t yet know what engine options the new Tekton will offer. Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift Next is Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift, expected to launch this month. Design-wise, the overall silhouette of the car remains unchanged; the upcoming version may introduce noticeable changes in its style and equipment. In the latest spy shots, the rear part of the SUV has been captured. The facelifted model features a revised front bumper and a revised grille. Similar cosmetic tweaks are expected at the rear as well. Interestingly, despite the growing trend of connected tail lamps in new SUVs, the updated Brezza, according to the recently spied image, is not expected to adopt this design element. Other exterior highlights may include newly styled 16-inch alloy wheels, sleek LED headlamps with DRLs, roof rails and an integrated rear spoiler.On the mechanical side, the 2026 Brezza is expected to get minor suspension tweaks, and a recent test mule was spotted with a 6-speed manual gearbox, suggesting that Maruti Suzuki may introduce an additional gear compared to the current setup. This change is likely intended to improve gear ratios for smoother highway travel. While there have been speculations about the possibility of the 1.0-litre three-cylinder Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx making its way to the Brezza, there is no official confirmation yet.Honda ZR-V Next is the Honda ZR-V. Pre-booking for the Honda ZR-V is underway. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The price announcement is expected to happen this month. The SUV will be available in India through the CBU route. This will push its price into a higher bracket due to import duties and related costs. The SUV is likely to be priced around 50 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it competes with Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, Nissan X-Trail and others.Talking about the powertrain, the ZR-V will be offered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a dual electric motor. The strong hybrid engine creates a combined power of 184hp of power and 315Nm. It is paired with an e-CVT automatic gearbox, which sends power to the front wheels. Honda says the ZR-V can sprint from 0-100kph in 8 seconds. It has an electronically limited top speed of 172kph and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.79kpl. In global markets, the ZR-V gets an all-wheel-drive (AWD) and a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine.Design-wise, the ZR-V has a crossover-like design with clean surfaces. At the front, it has a large grille and wide LED headlamps, which are seamlessly integrated into the fascia to give a restrained but noticeable presence. In profile, the SUV appears lower than typical models, with a sloping roof line and a long wheelbase, giving it proportions closer to a raised hatchback than a conventional tall SUV.New MG SUVNext up is a new SUV from JSW MG Motor India. The company is expected to launch the Wuling Starlight 560. A design patent for the model was filed in India in March. The SUV measures 4,745mm in length, offers three rows of seats for seven occupants, and features LED headlamps, LED tail-lamps and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it gets a dual-tone cabin, 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, six-speaker audio system, 50W wireless phone charger and panoramic sunroof.Internationally, the Starlight 560 is sold with plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrains. The PHEV pairs a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a front-mounted electric motor and a 20.5kWh battery, producing 195hp and 230Nm, with a claimed range of over 1,000km. The EV version uses a 69.2kWh battery and a front-mounted 201hp motor, delivering a claimed CLTC range of 530km. It remains unclear which version will be offered in India.
