Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started Phase 1 web option entry process for TS LAWCET 2026 counseling from 28 July 2026. Candidates who have completed the registration and certificate verification process can now submit their preferred law colleges through the official TGCHE counseling portal.Web Options Entry is a key stage in the admission process for candidates seeking admission to three-year LLB programs and five-year integrated LLB programs offered by participating institutions in Telangana. Only candidates whose certificates have been successfully verified are eligible to exercise web options during Phase 1 counselling.Phase 1 Counseling ProgramAs per the official counseling schedule, candidates can submit their web options from 28th July to 31st July 2026. The feature to edit submitted choices will be available on August 1st, allowing applicants to change the order of preference before choices are frozen.The provisional seat allotment result for Phase 1 is scheduled to be released on August 5. Candidates for the allotted seats will have to report to the allotted colleges and complete the admission procedures, including document verification, between August 6 and August 8.How to submit web optionsEligible candidates can complete the web options entry by visiting the official TGCHE admissions portal and selecting the ‘Web Options’ link. Applicants must login with their TS LAWCET 2026 Registration Number, Date of Birth and Rank.After logging in, candidates can view the list of participating colleges and organize the institutions in order of preference. After entering the options, candidates can save or submit the options. Applicants are advised to verify all selections carefully before final submission.Important Instructions for CandidatesTGCHE has not prescribed any upper limit on the number of colleges that candidates can choose during the web options process. Applicants are advised to select as many eligible colleges as possible to improve their chances of securing a seat during the allocation process.Candidates are also encouraged to complete the election process using a desktop or laptop rather than a mobile device to minimize technical or interface-related issues while submitting preferences.Seats available by consultationThe TS LAWCET 2026 counseling process will facilitate admission to approximately 6,480 seats in the three-year LLB program and around 3,120 seats in the integrated five-year LLB program offered by participating law colleges in the state.Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of candidates TS LAWCET Rank, Category, Reservation Criteria, Eligibility and College Preference order submitted during web options entry process.
