TNEA classification list 2026: The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) Rank List is expected to be released today, July 1, 2026. The rank list, which was initially scheduled to be released on June 29, will now be released on July 1, 2026. Incorporation of the revised marks of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) re-evaluation process will follow. The decision is expected to ensure that candidates whose CBSE scores have changed after re-evaluation are not disadvantaged during the preparation of the state-wide engineering merit list.According to reports, Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan announced that the release of TNEA 2026 rank list has been postponed to July 1.The delay comes after the announcement of the re-evaluation results by the CBSE on June 21. It has been decided to change the procedure of preparing the merit list so that those candidates who have got change of marks due to re-evaluation are duly accommodated in the final rank list.Merit list for TNEA 2026 will be based on the score of 200 marks. For the preparation of the TNEA admission list, the marks of the candidates in the qualifying tests shall be standardized and reduced to a total score of 200 marks.The list will determine the position of the candidates in the counseling and seat allotment process for Tamil Nadu engineering admissions.
