According to preliminary estimates on Sacnilk, ‘The Odyssey’ collected Rs 6.85 crore on Day 8 from 5,383 screens, registering an increase of 11.4 percent over Thursday’s collection of Rs 6.15 crore. The rise is significant as it marks the beginning of the film’s second weekend in theaters. The English version also drove the business of the movie, which helped close to Rs 6 crore on Friday. Meanwhile, the popular Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions together have grossed over Rs 85 lakh, confirming the lead of the original English language release while maintaining the mainstream market.With Rs 90.30 crore nett collected in its first week, the latest earnings of the film have taken its all India collections to around Rs 97.15 crore nett and Rs 115.92 crore cross.

The Oscar-winning film ended its run at the Indian theaters with Rs 128.46 crore, and on its latest run, ‘The Odyssey’ is expected to surpass this number in the second weekend and become Nolan’s highest-grossing film in India.This movie has already entered the list of top 15 Hollywood movies in India.
